Same shit, Different day!

Sometimes, you just can't not but wonder, "Why tha hell are some people the way they are?!?!?" I mean really, why do they have to be mean and illogical? Some people are just way beyond anywhere near to making sense!

A teacher is, in anyways, in better position than students. I mean, think of it. Really. They earn money for putting students through two hours of torture 2 days a week. They don't really have a lot of work to do like the students who have to go thru the torture procedure for at least 6 almost continuous hours EVERYDAY. They don't have any assignments to do. And for a professor who teaches in the masters level in universities, the work is even less when compared to their counterparts who work in schools and degree colleges. No offence to anyone, but really, in the masters level, it is mostly in the students hands. All the work, I mean. And if you make your students give presentations in every single class, I don't really think you have a lot of work to do. Honestly.

And what makes it worse is that, in the name of fees, we students PAY MONEY for being tortured. I just fail to make any sane sense out of this situation. It is just dumb, the amount of money our parents (and even us) are willing to pay to be tortured. And after endless sleepless nights and caffeine shots, after loads and loads of shit that we have to read and listen to in class, and after a number of almost near to death experiences, we get a paper with the institution's letter head which judges and tells the world if we are fit for further torture, if we can survive in their competitive world with pride and dignity and all that shit they hold so dear. And let us not forget who are the people who judge us and brand us fit.

All this said and done, it is just sad when some of these bosses need to reassert and reinforce their self importance- on both- the students and themselves. I think at some level, it is more of convincing the self about their relevance and importance than to reinforce their power and importance on us students. Cos if they teach us for a while, they should know that we couldn't care less. (I know some of them do, really really do. But I am only referring to those who have the capability to see beyond grades and mark sheets, stupid degrees and degrading jobs.) And if they don't know that by now, they are very very bad learners. And hence, they cannot be good teachers anyways.

Cos I hear that a bad learner can never be a good teacher.
